What's shown on the site

A sale's title, days and hours, street address, map location, part of town, what's for sale, description and photos, while the sale is listed.

What stays private

Your email address. We use it only to send your private edit link and, if needed, to contact you about your listing.

Photos

Photos are resized and saved fresh when you upload them, which removes hidden data such as the phone's GPS location.

How long we keep it

Sales come off the list at midnight after their last day, and are deleted with their photos a few days later.

Shoppers

The sales you check are stored only in your own browser. If you use "my location" for a route, your location is used in your browser to plan the route and sent to our routing service to work out drive times; we don't save it. Addresses you type to start a route are looked up and cached, not tied to you.

Services we use

Maps come from OpenStreetMap, drive times from the OSRM routing service, and address lookups from the U.S. Census Bureau geocoder and OpenStreetMap's Nominatim.

Cookies

One session cookie so forms work securely. No advertising or tracking cookies.

Spam protection

We keep a scrambled, one-way code made from your IP address for a few days to limit spam. Your actual IP address isn't stored.
