Frequently asked questions
For shoppers
How does Map My Route work?
Check the sales you want on the list, then tap Map My Route. Tell us where you're starting (your location or an address) and we put the stops in the shortest driving order. You can also order them by which sale opens first.
Can I get turn-by-turn directions?
Yes. Tap Open in Google Maps or Open in Apple Maps. Google Maps on phones only accepts a few stops per link, so long routes are split into parts; open the next part when you finish one. Multi-stop routes in Apple Maps need iOS 18.4 or newer.
How many sales can I put in one route?
Up to 15.
Do I need an account?
No. The sales you check are remembered in your browser on that device.
The route says a sale isn't open that day.
Some sales run on different days. Use the "Going on" choice on the route page to pick your day, and remove any stop that won't be open.
For sellers
Does it cost anything to post?
No. Posting is free and you don't need an account.
I already posted on Facebook. Do I have to type it all again?
No. Copy the text of your Facebook post, paste it into the box at the top of the Post a Sale page, and tap Fill in my listing. We fill in the dates, hours, address and what you're selling. Check it over, fix anything we missed, and post.
When does my sale go live?
Right away. We email you a private link to edit your sale or end it early. Keep that email, or bookmark the page you see after posting.
When does my sale come off the list?
Automatically, at midnight after your last day. Done early? Use your private link and tap End my sale now.
Why do you ask me to check the pin on the map?
That pin is where routes send shoppers. If the address lookup puts it on the wrong house, drag it to the right spot.
Is my address shown?
Yes. The street address is shown while your sale is listed, so shoppers can find you. Your email is never shown.
I lost my edit link.
Email [email protected] from the address you posted with and we'll send it again.
What can't I post?
See the posting rules.
